Evan Owens – Natural Resource Technology, Inc.

I am working as an entry level environmental engineer for the company Natural
Resource Technology based in Milwaukee, WI.

NRT is an environmental consulting company and focuses on groundwater, soil, and sediment remediation. I've worked for them since April 1st after graduating from UW-Madison in December, 2012. Most of the projects we work on involve properties that were previously a Manufactured Gas Plant or used for other industrial purposes and now have contaminants within the soil and groundwater. I've been working in the field a lot lately groundwater

All of the experiences and knowledge I gained at school is invaluable for the work that I am doing at NRT and without the Ross Wagner Scholarship I am certain that I would not be where I am today.
